In
1951 the Folgner family moved to San Clemente, and a short time
later, to Dana Point, California. As soon as Don and his brothers were
old enough, they began working with their father in his plumbing
business until his retirement in 1973.

In
1973, the "Beach Boys" began their own
business,
backed
with years of experience and expertise in their field. Embraced
with a rigid work ethic of quality and craftsmanship instilled in
them by their father, they have achieved a reputation as one of
Orange Countys premier plumbing contractors. In 1978, another
family member, Pat Beckett, joined the Beach Plumbing team. Pat
brought his expertise of not only numerous years of plumbing experience,
but his knowledge of Fire Sprinkler Designs and Calculations. In
the early 1980s, San Clemente was one of the few cities to
implement the requirement of the installation of residential Fire
Sprinkler systems in new homes and additions, and
was
when Beach Plumbing became licensed as a C-16 Fire Protection Contractor.
Unlike many of our competitors, we have kept our staff at a minimum,
in an effort to maintain the quality of our work. We have found
over the years that there is no substitution for being personally
involved in each project. |

| When
Beach Plumbing, Inc. began, Don and his brothers were truly the "Beach
Boys". Raised at the Dana Villa in Dana Point; later to be
the entrance to Dana Point Harbor . . . their free time was spent
fishing and scuba diving . . . hence the "scuba plumber".
For the last 30 years he has been a fun logo that graces the sides
of our bright yellow trucks! |
